Environmenal Activities:

The College Authority is very keen to assert the value of trees and necessity of Green, Pollution free World among the students and therefore, arranges ‘VriksharopanaUtsava’ during the monsoons to maintain a green campus. Again the students are guided to plant trees on the 5^th June to celebrate World Environment Day. Teachers adopt every step to make the students aware of environmental issues and the menace of climate change in society as well as our earth. Environmental Studies is one of the compulsory subjects for all students. Dept. of Geography often arranges seminars on related issues. NSS educates the students about environmental issues. They often engage in voluntarily cleaning the campus, planting trees and maintaining the garden not only in the campus but also in the surrounding areas. The College has adopted a strict disciplinary approach to prevent visual pollution also by withdrawing posters, festoons, or advertisements. The college is also trying sincerely to look forward to declare the entire campus into a ‘Plastic Free Zone’& ‘No Smoking Zone’.Dustbins are strategically placed to keep the campus clean so as to teach the students how to make our campus, home, area and country a clean country. Awareness about non-biodegradable is imparted by providing labelled and colour-coded Waste Dustbins all through the campus.
