Enrichment Programs

Each and every year many social programmes like College Foundation day, NabiDibas, Vivekananda’s Birth day, RabindraJayanti, Radhakrishnan’s Birthday, Maulana Azad Birth day, Independence day, Republic Day etc. are celebrated in the college premises. The presence of a number of sanyasis and maharajs from Ram Krishna Ashram and other Math and Mission and maulvis from different Madrasas and Masjids serves to create a secular atmosphere during such celebrations. The College regularly invites experts and educationists from other institutions to enlighten the students with their comprehensive lectures holistically. Such programmes are attended by the students, staff, teachers from surrounding feeder schools and even government officials are invited. On various occasions, sanyasis, maharajs and Maulvis have spoken about the importance of value education, moral and ethical values in human life and have chanted slokas from the Gita, Mahabharata, the Vedas and Upanishad, Koran to emphasize the moral and ethical aspects of life. With the help of various sub committees, the Principal supervises, monitors and evaluates the quality of its enrichment programmes.
