Admission Process

The college follows all the instructions related to admission process laid down by the affiliating University i.e. the University of Burdwan. As our College offers only U.G Courses, so for admission to UG level, the college offers two phases of admission. One phase caters to the Honours course and another phase to students of General course. For Honours aspirants, merit list is prepared for each subject on the basis of the sum of “Best Five subjects” marks and the marks obtained in the concerned subject by a candidate. Hereafter, one specific day for counselling is announced. The students of the concerned subjects assemble in the scheduled counselling room and opt for their preferred subject in accordance with their position in the merit list. By depositing the required amount of money in the college office for the concerned subject, selected students take admission on the particular day of admission. For General B.A course too, dates of admission are announced and students take admission according to merit. As per the order of Higher Education department of the Government of W.B., College has adopted and executed the online admission system since the last session. However, Students’ Help Desk is provided for dealing with the admission related queries and information.
