• She awarded Ph.D. in the year 1998 on “Terrains and the development of agriculture in the Madhupur Erosion Surface in Bihar” from the University of Burdwan through State Funded Senior Research Fellow.
•Post doctoral Fellow of U.G.C as a Research Associate , Title of research - “Agricultural backwardness and strategy for its removal through social mobilization in the Madhupur Subdivision, Jharkhand . Completed on the year 2011
